About Me
I’m Kenya, a naturopathic clinician with a background in acute emergency nursing. My journey began with a passion for finding answers to recurrent and chronic health issues, sparked by both my own health challenges and the dissatisfaction I observed in patients seeking solutions that conventional medicine couldn’t provide. I’m particularly focused on helping those frustrated by chronic issues who feel unheard and unaddressed.
Alongside my naturopathic practice, I work as a nurse in a preventative medicine clinic (Autonomy) specialising in metabolic syndrome. This allows me to combine my expertise in both fields, integrating naturopathy and lifestyle medicine. I keep up to date with evidence-based practices, functional testing, and nursing skills.
Outside of work, my hobbies include running, gym, gardening, beach trips, indoor plants, spending time with friends, festivals and ocean swims.
I hold a degree in Health Science (Nursing), completed in 2016 and I worked in emergency medicine at the beginning of my career. During this time, I achieved my RN Level 3 portfolio and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing. My scope of practice included leadership roles, resuscitation, and intensive care.
Alongside my nursing career, I completed my degree in Natural Medicine. I feel privileged to work alongside other healthcare professionals and share the knowledge I have obtained over the years with my clients.
I am a trained Reiki Practitioner. I am hoping to offer Reiki to clients in the near future.
I am continually learning and focused on personal growth. I am often exploring my own spiritual journey so I can help my clients on their path to wellness. I am fascinated by trauma and how this can cause physical symptoms or disease within the body.
